The 2012 Chrysler 200 has been completely redesigned.  Seats were completely re-engineered, with new spring geometry and new cushion materials and design. A larger lit storage bin joins the lit glove box, floor console, and other areas. Features (some optional) included lighted cup holders, auxiliary audio jack, and remote start.

Suspension dampers were retuned using advanced damper valving technology, providing more control without degrading comfort; redesigning the front suspension cradle isolators cut shake on uneven road surfaces; while revised front strut mounts brought better isolation and less impact noise on rough surfaces. The car was lowered 12 mm in front and 6 mm in back for better steering response; in addition, the torsion bar and intermediate shaft isolator rates were increased for a more precise feel. This will give Berlin Chrysler drivers a much more enjoyable experience cursing through the hills. 

Standard safety features include active head restraints, electronic stability control with traction control and Brake Assist, front-seat-mounted side air bags, side-curtain air bags, and four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS). Uconnect Voice Command is optional. Another standard feature are the bright bi-function halogen projector automatic headlamps with LED light pipe accents, and LED taillamps.
